Hi, son needs help with converting measurements. This is the math problem:

Navan's dog weighs 14 pounds. How many ounces is this?

is it:
(A) 224 ounces
(B) 140 ounces
(C) 98 ounces
(D) 30 ounces

Thanks ahead of time and could you explain how you got the answer so he will understand.

My way:

1 pound = 16 ounces

14 pounds = 16 * 14 = 224 ounces

Hence the answer is .....................
