hi guys, this isnt really a math problem more like a "i dont wanna drop outta college cause im not ready problem"
i recently applied to sally mcdonnel barksdale honors college at ole miss. im hoping to get in and if i do ill have the choice between the 2 calculi (plural?). my major is pre pharmacy and i have to take stats and calc 1 and 2 so i was wondering should i take honors calculus or regular calculus. im currently in precal with a 99 average and had a 98 average in trig last semester. alot of my ap calculus friends say the class is hard but i sat down with them and after an hour was doin some of their homework problems. so i was just wondering since ive never taking calc should i just into honors calc next year or play it safe with regular. it is gonna be college so the difficulty will already be large. keep in mind if i make honors college ill be in honors bio and honors 101 so lots of fun stuff. i really appreciate any help.
gotta go study for my ap chem test now so bye

I suggest you first learn how to communicate in "standard" English, including when to use capital letters, apostrophes, and other nuances that we older contributors will easily understand.

If I understand you correctly, you are asking for academic advisement. Unfortunately, since we have very little idea what you've mastered or what you'd be attempting (course titles do not provide sufficient information), there is little intelligent advice that we could offer.

Please consult with an academic advisor familiar with your situation and/or the various courses' requirements. (And it might help to confer with somebody who speaks whatever is your first language.)

My best wishes to you in your studies! :D

well that was no help at all. my first language is english by the way, im just not going to hit shift at the beginning of sentences. im not used to doing it and it bothers me, so thanks anyway.

1) Please abandon your arrogance. There is a whole society out here with which you CAN communicate IF you will. Get used to it and stop letting it bother you. These are personal choices you have made. Simply fix them by making more responsible, less self-destructive choices.

2) Please learn to accept good advice when you receive it, rather than discarding it off-handedly. When you seek help from capable professionals, do not assume you know already what is best. Listen to the capable professionals from whom you seek opinions. Failure to do so is quintessential arrogance. Active listening and learning constitute what an open mind is all about.

3) Please learn to write so that OTHERS can understand you. It is of no value whatsoever to attempt to require all others to speak YOUR language. This requirement of the entire world is a clear sign of the arrogance of which I spoke in 1).

4) Whatever field you desire to pursue, proper communication skills WILL assist you on your path and poor communication skills WILL BE detrimental. Do NOT simply discard the opportunity to improve your writing skills with the use of capitalization, punctuation, and appropriate sentence structure. Start practicing now.

5) Here is your open, public opportunity to use proper grammar in your effort to tell me that I am out WAY of line. I have, indeed, made some sweeping assumptions concerning your character and your fundamental desire to control, rather than to learn. Prove me wrong by responding with intelligence and rational thought.

6) To the negative: Why would you take the Honors Class if you are not particularly interested in the subject?

7) To the positive: Will the "Honors" designation improve your resume when you apply for pharmacy after completing the "pre" portion?

My views. I welcome others'.
