Help!!

I need help!

if I try to help some one on a problem i can fully explain because i dont know how to make things such as a square root, expontent and so on.... if someone could eplease tell where i can get this info it would be GREAT!!!!

You should see some buttons at the top of the page. Click on them and one should lead you to instructions.
In case they don't
square root of x is sqrt(x)
second power of x is x^2
sine of x is sin(x)
Don't be afraid of using too many ()s to be sure we understand the way things are grouped in the problem. For instance
(a+b)/(a-b) or
(a+b)/a-b or
a+b/(a-b) or
a+(b/a)-b
are all different things that someone has meant by
a+b/a-b

Someone who can see the buttons will probably be along to lead you thru the proper sequence.

Scroll up to the very top of the page.

Note the three "buttons" at the very top of the page: "Forum Index", "Math Subjects", and "Forum Help".

Move your mouse over, or click on, the one labelled "Forum Help".

Note the last four "buttons" on the drop-down menu that all relate to formatting posting.

Click on one or more of those last four "buttons".
