HELP!!!

I can't figure out these problems at all.

1. Write tan(t) in terms of sin(t). (Leave the radical in the denominator.)

2. What is the domain and range of an exponential function? and tan(x)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hardly calculus but...
tan(x)=sin(x)/cos(x)
cos(x)=sqrt(1-sin²(x))

Sin(x) and cos(x) can go from -1 to +1 while x goes from -oo to +oo. If cos(x)-> 0 while sin(x) -> +1 or -1, what happens to tan(x)
