Hi, I am having problems with two types of word problems. I am not sure the steps I would take in order to go about solving them.
First One: Adjacent enclosures are to be formed using 200 total feet of fencing. Draw a sketch with labels, write a function representing the total area, and find the maximum available area.
Second Problem: N=(20(5+3t))/(1+.04t) represents the deer population in protected wildlife area. Find the maximum population this area could support. Use some sort of mathematical reasoning to support your answer.
Any help would be great.
Thanks, Andy
