Hi, i'm having trouble with this one. if you could help me out, it would be much appreciated!

A building casts a shadow that is double the length of the buildings height. If the distance from the end of the shadow to the top of the building is 300 meters, how high is the building? Express the answer in simplified radical form. Then find a decimal approximation to the nearest tenth of a meter.

First draw a picture of the situation.
Assume the height of the building is = H

then

Length of shadow = 2 * H

Now use Pythagorean theorem - and solve for 'H'.

Please show us your work, indicating exactly where you are stuck - so that we know where to begin to help you.
