help with some manual cubic equation

I'm not allowed to use a calculator on this one....
I have to get a cubic equation from a set of points but they don't have a constant D3.
I completely forget how to do this...
the set of data are:

What level class is this? What have been taught?
 
What have you been taught about finding fitted polynomials through given points?
 
I've been taught about quadratics and how if you have points you can use elimination by substituting points from the data to a general equation like y=ax^2+bx+c. But those had a constant D2 difference so I was able to figure it out fast but I've never done a cubic with out a constant D3 difference.

Non-constant D3 tells you that you cannot have an exact cubic polynomial passing through these points.

Have you been taught least square-fit for these types of problems?
