The probability to roll any number : 1,2,3,4,5,6 is the same.
If I was rolling the die for the first time the probability to get any number is (1/6), Right !
If I was rolling the die for the nth time the probability to get any number is (1/6)^n
When you're asked to find the probability of an At Least event always use the complementary.I mean for the question you're asking for :
So the probability of rolling at least one 6 = 1- the probability of rolling no 6's.
P(A') = 1 - p(A)
P(A') = 1 - (5/6)^5
