Help with Logic Puzzle - A fun one!

Hi,
I am a teacher. I do not agree with the answer printed in the book, and it is driving me crazy. I don't know if I am missing something...Here is the logic question:
To ride the merry-go-round, you must be at least 1 meter high.
To go through Haunted House, you must be less than 188 cm in height.
To ride Crash Coaster, you must be at least 122 cm in height.
To go through Tuneful Tunnel, you must be less than 1 meter 53 cm. in height.
To ride Swinging Swings, you must be at least 88 cm. in height.
To ride Demon Dragster, you must be at least 1 meter 43 cm in height.

Maria can ride Crash Coaster, but she can't ride the Demon Dragster.
Carlos can ride the Haunted Home, but he can't ride Crash Coaster.
Roberto can go on all the rides except Tuneful Tunnel.
Linda can only ride the Tuneful Tunnel, the Haunted Home, and the Swinging Swings.

Write the children in order from tallest to shortest.

Yes, but I am not sure who is taller - Linda or Carlos.

88 <Linda<122
Neither can ride the Crash Coaster, so we know they are both less than 122, but we don't know the lower number for Carlos...Couldn't Linda be taller than Carlos? We only know she's over 88... I'm thinking the shortest could be Linda OR Carlos, but the book only gave one answer (Linda the shortest).
