I'm not sure if I fell asleep while we learned this or what, but I don't even know where to begin on this problem.

Estimate the change of F using the Linear Approximation and use a calculator to compute both the error and the percentage error.

f(x) = Sqrt(6+x)
a = 5
Change of X = 2

There are 3 entry boxes:
Change of F ______
Error _______
Percentage Error ______

Any help would be appreciated.

What have you been taught about these?

Please show us some work and tell us where you are exactly stuck. That way we can help you better.

In class. I have no work...I don't know where to start. I don't remember ever seeing this and the book isn't much help.

Well....

Do a google search on those terms.

Tell us what you found - what are the definitions of those terms in this context.

Then may be we can begin.....
