Help with equations

Solve the equation for h
D = 1.2 ?h
This is what I have
H = ?(1.2/d)
Is this correct? ... No

Is this still problem for your son? Why isn't he posting these himself?

First get rid of the square-root by squaring both sides.

\(\displaystyle \text{square both sides to remove the square root, example }\)

\(\displaystyle D^2=(1.2\sqrt(h))^2\)

\(\displaystyle This\ gives : D^2 = 1.44(h)\)

\(\displaystyle h=\frac{D^2}{1.44}\)

I am posting them myself, I am just using her computer and what she already has set up, she stopped helping me after you made the same statement yesterday.
