question/problem is:
"when 6x^(2)-32x+13 is divided by a polynomial, the quotient is 6x-2 and the remainder is 3.
find the polynomial."
I am unsure how I should start the problem....

How would you set up 631 / 62 if you were to determine the remainder?

Along similar lines to what I think tkhunny has in mind, if the divisor is D (a polynomial), can you write an equation relating 6x^2-32x+13, D, 6x-2, and 3?

You really need to answer tkhunny's questions and then try to answer Dr Peterson's question. This will really help you out.
