Hi.. can anyone help me to solve the following question.

find dy/dx by differentiating implicitly. When applicable, express the result in terms of x and y.

3x2/(y2+1) + y = 3x + 1

Thanks in advance..:)

Since (y^2 + 1) is never zero, it is valid to multiply all terms by it:

\(\displaystyle 3x^2 + y (y^2 - 1) = 3x (y^2 - 1) + 1(y^2 - 1)\)

Does that help? If you need more hints, Show us your work! (So we know where you are getting stuck.)
