The problem is 4xy + - 7y + -4xy + 9x^2 + 2xy.

Solving it the way I thought was correct, I get 2xy- 7y +9x^2. This is not the correct answer, however. The correct answer is 11xy +6x^2y +7xy^2, and I can't understand how. There are no multiplication signs, and you can't combine unlike terms. Can someone help clear it up? Thank you!
