The answer to this is 3.41 but my answer is 13.75 so I am way off. Please help me find out how to solve this problem.

A parallel circuit that has resistances of 6.25 ohms and 7.5 ohms has a total resistance of R, where 1/R = 1/6.25 + 1/7.5. What is the total resistance of this circuit?

Can someone explain?
