Figured this was the place to guy for help. Thanks to anyone that can help me solver some of these problems.

1. If the supply and demand functions for a product are given by the equation p = s(x) = x^2 + 8x + 16 and p= d(x) = -3x^2 + 6x + 436. Then the equilibrium quantity and equilibrium price are what?

2. If the supply and demand functions for a product are given by the equation p = s(x)= x^2 + 300 and p= d(x)= 410-x. Then the equilibrium quantity and the equilibrium price are what?

3. The solution(s) of the equation log2x-log2(x-20= 3 is (are)?

4. The solution of the equation 50/1+4e^0.2t= 20 is? (round off to 2 decimal places)

5. log(sqrt of x^2 + 1)/ x^2) is equal to

(a.) ln 3sqrtx/ (x+1)^3
(b.) log sqrt of x^2+ 1/ log x^2
(c.) sqrt of log(x^2+1)-log x^2
(d.) 1/2 log (x^2+ 1) -2 log x
(e.) none of these

6. 1/2 ln x + ln 3 - 3ln(x+10 is equal to

(a.) ln 3 (sqrt of x)/ x+1) ^3
(b.) (( sqrt of x) + 3 - (x+10 ^3)
(c.) ln (sqrt of x) + 3 / (x+ 1) ^3
(d.) none of these

7. f(x)= a + b ln x and f(1)=2 and f(2)=4. Then f(x) is?

(a.) 2 + 4 ln x
(b.) 4 + 2 ln x
(c.) 2 + (2/ ln 2) ln x
(d.) none of these
