Could anyone help me with the problem cos(arccos x - arctan x)?

OK, I think I found the answer. The answer I got was was 3x/1-x. Could anyone please check me on this?

Your subject line refers to an "equation", but the above is an expression...? Also, there are no instructions...?

Assuming you wanted to evaluate

cos(arccos x - arctan x)

It cannot equal to 3x/(1-x) [assuming this is what you meant].

x = 1/2 makes the expression greater than '1'.
