If you do not show us what you have done, how in the world do you expect us to identify and correct your error?

It also greatly helps us to help you if:

(1) you tell us where you are in your mathematical schooling (6th grade pre-algebra or college calculus), and
(2) the EXACT words of the problem
.

Please be sure to read our guidelines. As Jeff mentioned, we need to see your efforts first because this is a tutoring site.

Also, now that you've reached algebra, stop using the letter x as a multiplication symbol. Write a dot or type an asterisk, instead. And, when two numbers are multiplied together (such as QD), there is no need to write a multiplication symbol between them.

nm+1 = (Cm+1 * (V - U)m+1) / (QD)m+1

Let's also make sure that you've learned the following property of exponents:

X^(m+1) = X^m * X

I'm thinking that all you need to do is apply this property to the denominator on the right-hand side of the given equation, followed by multiplying both sides of the equation by something that will get you the required left-hand side.

Anyways, please demonstrate what you're thinking or trying, so that we have something to go on.

Cheers
