[h=1]Why a line can be divided internally and externally?[/h]I mean to say if AB is a line segment and R is a point between A and B such that it divides AB in the ratio m:n then how can we say that there exists another point R' lying on AB produced (not between A and B) which also divides AB in the same ratio. And if it exists is it the only point ?
