I am designing a Tube Mod..

The tube has a diameter of 25mm..

My question is; what is the surface area of the tube in width. If i was to cut down 1 side of tube and flatten it?

Don't understand the question. Surface area in width? Can you post a drawing?

If you opened it up, the width of the resulting rectangle would be the circumference of the tube, pi times the diameter. You'd multiply that by the length to get the surface area.

Does it matter to you whether you use the inside or outside diameter? I don't know what a "tube mod" is, so I don't know the practicalities of the question.
