I know this is completely unrelated to the topic, but I just created an account and I want to know how you create a post so others can answer your question. If someone could help me out, I would appreciate it greatly

Go to the category in question (which, in your case, was "Probability / Statistics"), look near the top left for the "Post New Topic" button, click the button, and post your new topic.
