I had these questions in a test i did and i got the question wrong. I am still unsure how to do this question. Help please :D

A roll of fabric has a width of (x+1) metres. mary buys (x+2) metres of this fabric while suzanne buys 3 metres.

Write an expression, in terms of , for the area of each piece of fabric.

If mary bought more fabric than suzanne, write an expression for how much more she has than suzanne, then factorise it and express in simplest form.

Show how you can arrive at this simplified expression by expanding to begin with (rather than factorising).

Determine the width of fabric if mary has 8 m2 more fabric than suzanne.

Determine the area of fabric that mary has and that suzanne has.

What did you do? What was your reasoning? If we can see that, we can try to help you find any mistakes, so you don't repeat them later.

Please be complete. Thank you! ;)
