Hi there,
Just a quick question!
In my homework assignment, we were asked to calculate the percentile of our height in our class using both the z-score method and the cumulative frequency method. Then it asks: comparing the two, what does this tell us about the distribution?
Using the z-score method:
My height(y) = 157
Mean = 168.8
S.D. = 10.35
z = -1.14.. From the table: 0.1271
12th Percentile
Using the cumulative frequency method:
CFBM = 7.5
n = 38
19th percentile
What am I supposed to concur about the distribution from the difference percentiles from the two methods?
