can anybody help me with few problems?

x + k / j = 3/4, for x

and

a - 3y / b + 4 = a + y, for y

THANKS!!! :)

I assume you want you solve for what is indicated.
x + k / j = 3/4, for x
but my guess is you mean
(x+k)/j = 3/4
x + k = 3j/4
x = 3j/4 - k

and

a - 3y / b + 4 = a + y, for y
is
(a - 3y) / b + 4 = a + y
(a - 3y) / b - y = a - 4
a - 3y -by = b(a-4)
(-3-b)y = b(a-4) - a
y = (ba-4b-a)/(-3-b)

If that isn't what you mean, let me know.
