My son has all of his homework done except for 1 problem. He is in the 5th grade and the work sheet is on Venn Diagram. I read up on the diagram and understand the graph but I don't understand the answer to this question. Here is how it read.
The following Venn diagram has been completed except for the labels. Look at the numbers in each region. Write an appropriate label in each box.
Then it has the 2 circles where part of them overlap. and the numbers in the cirle are:
LEFT CIRCLE SHARED RIGHT CIRCLE

3 1 4
5 9
7 25 16
11
13 36

LABLE_______________ 2 6 8 10 LABLE_______________

Hello, cougarmama74!

The following Venn diagram has been completed except for the labels.
Look at the numbers in each region.
Write an appropriate label in each box.
Code:
      *---------------------------------------*
      | |
      | |
      | *---------------* |
      | | | |
      | | 3 *-------+-------* |
      | | 5 | | | |
      | | 7 | 1 | | |
      | | 11 | 9 | 4 | |
      | | 13 | 25 | 16 | |
      | | | | 36 | |
      | *-------+-------* | |
      | 2 | | |
      | 6 *---------------* |
      | 8 |
      | |
      *---------------------------------------*

This is a matter of observation and imagination,
. . figuring out the rules for sorting the numbers as they did.

The circle on the left contains all ODD numbers.

The circle on the right contains SQUARE numbers.

And the common region contains ODD SQUARES.

. . Got it?

Thank you for your help. This helps me a lot. I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure this one and I just couldn't. I apperciate the help. Thanks so much. You guys/gals are great.
