Hello and thank you to all who take the time to help me out..
Given functions f and g find (a) (f o g)(x) and it’s domain, and (b) (g o f)(x) and it’s domain.
57) f(x)=-6x+9, g(x)=5x+7

I have to do 7 problems just like that ^ one for homework. Can someone solve that one and walk me through it so I can try the rest? I don’t understand it. Thanks !

You've already seen lessons and worked examples, in class and in your textbook, yes? If we were to post another worked example, it's likely that you'd still be confused.

We would like to know specifically what seems confusing. Is it the concept of composite functions (one function "inside" another)? Is it the notation? A particular sentence or step in your textbook? Is the concept of domain an issue?

Once we have an idea about why you're confused, then we'll be able to determine the kind of help you need.

If you don't have a textbook or notes with worked examples, please google keywords composite functions and their domains and study some lessons, step-by-step, writing them down. Then you'll be able to give your exercise a try and show how far you got -- and we can start to guide you. Trying things yourself first is the best way to learn math.
