Hello!
I need to find the value of A which will make the following function continues.
I did manage to find the limit of it as x-->0 from the right (it is 1/54) and i guess same value needed to be calculated from the left side of 0.
But I can't find out that limit, is there some identity of log that I'm missing ?
thanks in advanced!
There the question + what I've done so far.

Eventually I found this identity and solved the problem.

That's a limit, not an identity; but it's correct.

The other main way I can see to solve this problem would be L'Hopital's rule.

If the source of the problem is such that you wouldn't be expected to know either yet, then it's not a good problem.
