I need help graphing this problem:

The line having slopes -3 and containing the point (-6,5).

Can I have the equations also?

"The line having slopes -3 and containing the point (-6,5)."
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
y - 5 = -3(x - (-6)) = -3(x + 6)

Now distribute the -3 and write in whichever form your text or teacher requires. I'm guessing that it is supposed to be either in slope-intercept or standard form.

How to graph linear inequalitites with two variables

Let's say f(x)=y=x+1, & the question is to graph this line or function.

for x=0 :: y=(0)+1 :: y=1 . First point on coordinate system (0,1)

for y=0 :: 0=x+1 :: x=-1 . Second point on the coordinate system is (-1,0)

Plot these two points on the coordinate system and join them Mate. :wink:
