Graphing y = x and y = 2 squared x

Graph the functions y = x and y =2 squared x on the same graph (by plotting points if necessary). Show the points of intersection of these two graphs. What are the points of intersection?

I also need to find an on-line graphing tool to graph the plots

Two squared is just four, so your second function appears to be "y = 4x". To find the intersection point, set the two lines equal to each other, and solve for the x-value. Back-solve (in either original function) for the y-value.

Is that required? You're not allowed to simply graph these by hand?
