Hey, this is my first time using these boards, and hopefully they will be great. But i have a really bad math teacher, so i was wondering if anybody could help explain to me how to graph Inequalities. I have it as homework coming out of a Textbook. These are the questions:
1.x-6y+3>0
2.y>1/3x+5
3.Y>=1/2x-5
4.Y<=|x|
5.Y>|4x|
6.Y+|x|<3
7.Y>=|x-1|-2
8.|x+y|>1
9.|x|<=|y|
10.Graph all the points on the coordinate plane to the left of the graph of x=-2. Write an Inequality to describe these points.
11.Graph all the points on the coordinate plane below the graph of Y=3x-5. Write an Inequality to describe these points.

Thanks for any help you can provide me with.
PS: *<= means less then or equal to, and *>= means greater than or equal to.

Since the class notes and your textbook have left you "lost", you obviously need lessons. Unfortunately, it is simply not reasonably feasible to attempt to teach courses here, especially over topics as graphical as this one. Sorry! :oops:

Fortunately, there are just loads of lessons available online! :wink:

. . . . .Google results for "graphing linear inequalities"

Have fun! :D
