the question has several parts which should help in sketching the graph the part i dont understand is below

what would it mean if the limit as x approaches infinity of the function f(x) is positice infinity, but f(x) approaches x as x approaches infinity. what is the graph supposed to do when this is true?

lim f(x) = + infinity , but f(x)->x as x->infinity
x-> infinity

from your description, it sounds like the curve of f(x) is approaching the line y = x, a "slant" asymptote.
