How would you do the following?

. . .Graph f(x) = 2x + 3 using x- and y-intercepts.

I can't figure out how to solve it

Thank you.

To find the y-intercept, plug zero in for "x" and solve.

To find the x-intercept, plug zero in for "y" and solve.

Plot the two points.

Line up your ruler against the dots, and draw the line for your graph.

My favorite! The intercept form.

y = 2x + 3

y - 2x = 3

y/3 - 2x/3 = 1

y/3 + x/(-3/2) = 1

It;s a little awkward-looking, but those intercepts are staring at you.
