Could I please get some help with this problem?

C(p) =(72700 p)/(100 - p)
Graph this function on your calculator. (ok that part is easy enough on my TI-83+)

Find the cost of removing 20%. (How do I do that?)

Cost for removing 20%, in dollars, is _____________

Find the cost of removing half of the pollutants. (How do I do that?)

Cost for removing half, in dollars, is _____________

I also need help on "What is the smallest value p can be? What is the largest integer value p can be?" Could someone explain that part as well please?

Tough call. Can you provide some explanation?

C(p) is the cost of removing polution?
p is the polution?

If you could give the EXACT WORDING of the problem statement, I'm pretty sure we can drag you through it.

Any help please? That is the exact wording of the problem. But I am sure you are dead on tkhunny

My GUESS is that p is the percent of the polution removed. If that is right, using the calculator,
xmin = 0
xmax = 100
then just TRACE at x=20 and x=50

What are the smallest and largest integers FOR that give a value for y?

are basically just plugging in numbers
for p and solving for C(p).

What is the cost of removing 20% of the pollutants? plug in 20 for p.

What is the cost of removing half of the pollutants? plug in 50 for p,
etc.

Yup, same thing. You had it graphed so that was the way I went.
