1/5 x to 1/6 y = (x/5) / (y/6) = x/5 * (6/y) = ???

subhotosh Khan, you are amazing. Thanks for helping on so many of my questions. This problem actually just clicked for me.

take the 5x = 6y and find x to get x = 6y/5 then take your x and substitue in the ratio equation of (1x/5)/(1y/6). The new equation will look like (6y/25)/(1y/6) which should equal 36y/25y = 36/25.
