I have a triangle with angles a at the top, bn the right and c on the left. Side a to b is 14, side b to c is 22, side c to a is 11. I need to know how to do this?
if a triangle has angles A, B, C, and the sides OPPOSITE those angles have lengths a, b, c, then there are two useful formula linking sides and angles....
\(\displaystyle a^2=b^2+c^2-2bc\cos A\) (this is a generalisation of pythagoras' theorem)
