I have a problem a that I'm having trouble with. I have to make a two-column proof for it. (I'm going to abbrieviate triangle with a ^ and similar with a ~ in the problems.)

Code:
1) given: EF||RS
    prove: ^FXE ~ ^SXR
               [u]FX[/u] = [u]EF[/u]
               SX    RS

                       /|S                     [u]Statements  | reasons[/u]
                    F/  |                                         |
                   /|   |                                         |
                 /  |   |                                         |
               /    |   |                                         |
           X/      |   |                                         |
             \      |   |                                         |
               \    |   |
                 \  |   |
                   \|   |
                  E \  |
                       \|R

2) given: <1 [is congruent to] <2
    prove: ^JIG ~ ^JZY
               [u]JG[/u] = [u]GI[/u]
               JY = YZ

                                /2|                                            |
                              /    |                                            |

                        /\         |
                      /    \       |
                    /        \     |
                  [u]/          1 \   |[/u]
                J              G    Z
Thanks!!!

You need to show us your work/thought - and exactly where you are stuck - so that we know where to begin to help you.

Here is a hint for #1.
AAA gives similar triangles.
