Please post back with what you have done so that we can help you work through this problem. Can you update the figure a little? Are the two triangles similar, if yes then why?

While you're working on it, please check that you copied the problem correctly. I don't think it's right.
For example, you could draw the figure with AC=1, BC=4, DC=2, and EC=2, and it would fit what is given ...
