i actually cut up the original worksheet. there were originally 45 questions, but i don't understand how to do these 11 that's why i'm hoping someone out there understand how to do them & is willing to share their knowledge.

Most of these are VERY BASIC surface area and volume problems. You have shown no attempt to solve any of them, so it surely looks as if you are expecting us to do your work for you. Most of us won't......

The place to start on any surface area or volume problem is to find and WRITE DOWN the formula which applies to the type of figure in the problem. Once you have the formula, READ and ANALYZE the problem to see which components of the formula are given. Substitute those into the proper places in the formula. More often than not, the above steps will leave you with just one unknown in the formula; then you can apply the proper algebraic or arithmetic steps to find the value of that unknown. Make sure you ANSWER THE QUESTION asked in each problem.

When you have shown some effort indicating what you've done, and where you are stuck, we will be in a better position to help you.

And, to me this looks like it might be a take-home test. I don't help with tests.
