Find vector c in component form with magnitude 5 in a dirction opposite to vector a = (-3, -4).

Thanks to anyone who can show me how to do this problem.

This one's a little too easy. Draw yourself a right triangle. Lable the legs '3' and '4'. Now sit back and stare at it until you see it.

Given the vector \(\displaystyle < a,b >\) then the vector \(\displaystyle \frac{{ - 5 < a,b > }}{{\left\| { < a,b > } \right\|}}\) is a vector of length five in the opposite direction from \(\displaystyle < a,b > .\)
