Find vector c in component form with magnitude 5 in a dirction opposite to vector a = (-3, -4).

Thanks to anyone who can show me how to do this problem.

This one's a little too easy. Draw yourself a right triangle. Lable the legs '3' and '4'. Now sit back and stare at it until you see it.

Given the vector <a,b>\displaystyle < a,b > then the vector 5<a,b><a,b>\displaystyle \frac{{ - 5 < a,b > }}{{\left\| { < a,b > } \right\|}} is a vector of length five in the opposite direction from <a,b>.\displaystyle < a,b > .
