I was wondering if anybody could help me with this question, I am stuck on it and don't know what to do

1/(1+R) + 1/(1+R)^2 + 1/(1+R)^3 + ...

Find the sum of the first n terms and of the infinite geometric series.

What formula(s) did they give you for working with geometric series? How far have you gotten in applying this information?
