Please help me. I know what to do I’m just doing something wrong and need to see how to do it correctly. I’m getting pi as the answer when the correct answer is just 1.

Hello, and welcome to FMH! :)

For ease of reference, I've resized, rotated and cropped your image, and am attaching as a full image rather than a thumbnail:

An arbitrary element of the solid can be given as:

[MATH]dV=\frac{1}{2}y^2\,dx=\frac{1}{2}\cos(x)\,dx[/MATH]
Hence (utilizing the even function rule):

[MATH]V=2\cdot\frac{1}{2}\int_{0}^{\frac{\pi}{2}} \cos(x)\,dx=\left[\sin(x)\right]_0^{\frac{\pi}{2}}=1[/MATH]
Without seeing your actual work, I can't tell you where you went wrong. :(
