Please help me. I know what to do I’m just doing something wrong and need to see how to do it correctly. I’m getting pi as the answer when the correct answer is just 1.

Hence (utilizing the even function rule):
[MATH]V=2\cdot\frac{1}{2}\int_{0}^{\frac{\pi}{2}} \cos(x)\,dx=\left[\sin(x)\right]_0^{\frac{\pi}{2}}=1[/MATH]
Without seeing your actual work, I can't tell you where you went wrong.
