If you were supposed to find 1 gal/hr = ? oz/sec, you are correct but not finished yet. You need to reduce the right-hand-side by dividing the numerator and the denominator through with their common factors.
Notice how the various units cancel out leaving only fl.oz in the numerator and sec in the denominator. You can do the multiplication and reducing of the numbers.
By the way. We have gotten so sloppy that many people think ounces and fluid ounces are the same. They are not. Ounces is a measure of weight. Fluid ounces is a measure of capacity. If you want to point that out to your teacher, be sure you don't embarrass her/him.
