Fuzzy Set Help , Stuck..

Can you help me solve the set ,im stuck. :S

No, to take the union of two sets means to take everything from both sets and stick them into one (omitting repeats, if any)

Sorry, didn't see "fuzzy." Is there not a different symbol for "fuzzy union"? From a quick google, it looks like your answer is correct.

I was confused because..

(im sorry i do not speak english that fluently thus i can't really describe mathematical definitions clearly)

I got the "MAX" of the elements (if that's correct) of each set and put them together into one.

My only question is , if some elements are missing from a set (in which case they do) for example Set: A ,Element: (a,1) , is missing from set B. So do i just put the one i got or do i ignore element "a" entirely ?

You would include the element (a,1). See example 1 in this paper
