mean, in mathematics. I have not seen any expression like that!!

7=1 in base 3 or 6.

After just taking exception to Otis' post (in here) I'm loth to disagree with yet another member of the 'Elite' in here but, surely:
9 = 14 in base 5
and
7 = 21 in base 3 and 11 in base 6?

Or is this yet another 'American' convention I'm not familiar with?
(Or am I missing a joke here? lol)
