I am completely lost in Calculus and hardly understand anything. One of my many problems is this:

The accompanying table gives approximate values of three functions: one of the form kx^2, one of the form kx ^?3, and one of the form kx^3/2. Identify which is which, and estimate k in each case.

The chart is like this.

X 0.25 .037 2.1
f(x) 640 197 1.08
g(x) 0.0312 .0684 2.20
h(x) .250 .450 6.09

There are more values but once I get the idea I am hoping to be able to do those on my own. What exactly am I supposed to be doing? I would appreciate any help what so ever. Thank you

If you plot l those in a log-log graph [log(y) = log(k * x[sup:h89i64y7]n[/sup:h89i64y7])] - you'll get a straight line, where the slope is = n and the intercept ln(k)
