ok i'm clueless on how to do this. its covered in the book but i still dont understand it and i do homeschool.


1. Write a rule the expresses the months m (y) as a function of the number of years (y)


2. is selling price for a specific item a function of markup? explain

Normally, "clueless" is the first sign of being in the wrong class. Why are you in this material if you are not ready for it? Perhaps your curriculum has been designed badly. You may wish to reassess with your Home Educators.

m(y) = 12*y

Really, this is intended to be a very simple fiorst example, just getting you used to the idea of function notation. You should AT LEAST go read the section again. You're missing something important.

You will have to provide a definition of "markup". Your answer is in the definition.
