How do I graph g(x) = (x - 3)/(x^2 -1)

Can you please show step by step how I should do this question as this is the first time I'm doing this kind. Thanks so much. :D

\(\displaystyle \text{How do I graph this function }\)

Domain of f(x) is : \(\displaystyle x^2 - 1\not=0\)

\(\displaystyle x^2\not=1\)

\(\displaystyle x\not=\pm1\)

Search for asymptotes:

x=1 or x=-1 is a verticle asymptote

Find the derivative and set it equals zero, To find the stationary points or maximum and minimum if they exist.

DEDUCE THE TABLE OF VARIATION.
