What is 1 million divided by 1.5?

I think it is 750,000

But the calculator shows 666,666

I can't work out how the calculator gets this answer

Please can you show me the working?

Or: 1.5 is the same as 3/2. To divide by a fraction "invert" and multiply.
1000000/1.5= 1000000*(2/3) which is what your calculator gives.

To get 750, 000, you must have mutliplied by 3/4 which would be the same as dividing by 4/3, not 3/2.

It's the same as 1 million divided by 1500!

Why does 1.5 represent 1500 instead of one and a half?

------------------------------------------------------

3/2 - means three halves of a million? to me that is 1.5 million?

How is that the same as 2/3?

Sorry i'm slow at this

By the way I wish this was for money :D

Hi, thanks for the reply Denis, gah I just don't get math :S

Let me tell you the problem...

A pokemon takes 1,000,000 Exp Points to get to its maximum level

But a traded pokemon gets exp points 1.5 times faster...

So relatively, how many experience points would a traded pokemon take to get to its maximum level?

(I know it's still 1 million points, but is there a way to work out what it relatively is now that exp is gotten 1.5 times faster?)
