Let's see some work from you dear friend : :

You sure know what the " congruent supplementary angles " means ?

If they are "supplementary", what is the sum of their measures?

If they are "congruent", how do their measures compare?

Then what number is equal to 3x + 72?

Then what is x?

\(\displaystyle Question: \ Does \ x \ = \ d \ and \ is \ c \ measured \ in \ radians \ or \ degrees?\)

What must be the numerical value of "c" - if it is a part of "congruent supplementary" pair?

measure of angle C + measure of angle D = 180 deg (Given, angles are supplementary)
measure of angle C = measure of angle D (Given, angles are congruent)
measure of angle C + measure of angle C = 180 deg (As, C =D)
2 measure of angle C = 180
measure of Angle C = 180/2 = 90 deg------> 1

Given, measure of angle C = 3x + 72
From 1, 3x + 72 = 90
3x + 72-72 = 90 - 72
3x = 18
x = 6.
