I have a problem that I am about to go ccrazy on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
A clothing retailer believes that 35% of its customers are between the ages of 20 and 30. A survey of 150 of its customers showed 55 between the ages of 20 and 30. At a 0.10 lovel of significance, what is the test value and the critical value?
This is what I have:
^
z=p-p/sq rt. pq/n = 0.37-.035/sq rt(0.35)(0.65)/150
p=x/n=55/150=0.366 (0.37) p=0.35 q=1-0.35=0.65
